It has been more than 6 months since I published an article on Morocco… I have therefore decided to share with you a post dedicated to Chefchaouen to give you some addresses and tips to visit Chefchaouen.
This small town in the Rif is located in northern Morocco. Many travellers come to visit Chefchaouen after falling under the spell of the narrow streets of the medina that we see in many photographs of Morocco.
This ticket, entirely dedicated to Chefchaouen, is intended to make you want to visit Chefchaouen but also to share with you some addresses and good tips to discover the city and know what to do in Chefchaouen.
Visiting Chefchaouen: what to do in Chaouen?
Almost all of Chefchaouen’s points of interest, also known as Chaouen, are located in the medina.
The medina is quite small and the alleys are very beautiful, colourful and pleasant to walk in. We are very far from the overcrowded medinas of Marrakech or Fez. Here, you can stroll calmly, at your own pace without having to dodge mopeds or donkeys loaded with skins!
You will therefore have the possibility to use most of the streets of the medina of Chefchaouen.
In key points not to be missed, I will place at the top of the list the main square of the medina, the Uta el-Hammam square. A true heart of the medina, it is a meeting point, a place for discussion and a place to rest in the medina thanks to the many cafés.
